We want to share a recent story that underscores why your support matters so much.
Earlier this year, we received a plea for help: four females up north desperately needed our aid. Despite our best efforts, we couldn’t immediately rescue them due to foster shortages, slow adoptions, and a long intake waitlist. October arrived, and the situation turned dire with an additional four females in need. They were teetering on the edge of a harsh winter, vulnerable and alone. But in their darkest hour, you shone a beacon of hope. Our community came forward and we found foster homes and donations, enabling us to save not just those eight, but also three more females and two male pups in the community that same day. Because of your kindness, 11 females and two male pups now have a chance at an incredible life.
Your donations are more than a gift; they are a lifeline. Without your support, these dogs faced a grim fate – aggressive packs of male dogs, pregnancies in unforgiving weather, and health risks as unvaccinated strays.
