Want to become a sponsor for a dog’s surgery?
We are looking for twenty $100 sponsorships from our supporters for 10 dogs to help us with our costs.
On Saturday, August 18, five dogs from Easterville/Chemawawin Cree Nation will be transported to Winnipeg, fixed, and vaccinated (as well as have any health issues addressed) with the help of our partner at Dakota Veterinary Hospital.
On our return the following Saturday, August 25, we will be bringing the dogs back, as well as 10 dog houses made by Shadow’s Mission that will be provided to community members needing them for their dogs, along with straw for insulation and dog food.
The cost of this Beat the Heat initiative is approximately $2,150. Each sponsor will receive a photo of the dog that he or she helped make a difference for! Tax receipts are issued for all donations over $20.
